100 Book Challenge
All DNA students are encouraged to join us in our 1st Annual 100 Book Challenge. Each student will have a journal to keep track of their books and they can earn prizes along the way!!
*Every Friday teachers will check the student’s journal to see if they met their 10 books(students in older grades can count 15 min. as a book)challenge. Journals must be signed by an adult to verify that the reading is taking place. See the list below for some creative ways your child can enjoy reading.
*Students will enter their name into the weekly drawing if they have read 10 books in a week. A prize will be drawn in 3 groups (PreK-2nd, 3rd-5th and 6th-8th) each week.
*There will be a BIG celebration on May 14th to celebrate, so get reading!!!!
Students can read a book or reading for 15 minutes will count as a book for older students. Younger students can enjoy an adult reading to them or listen to a story online. Grandparents and neighbors would be thrilled to Facetime with your child and both can enjoy the story. Older brothers and sisters can be a great audience for younger siblings and children love reading to their pets!
