Welcome Pre-K Students and Families
We in Pre-K are excited to meet and greet you all and we welcome you to Drexel Neumann Academy.



Welcome to our second full week of school. 
They are doing well.Please review the following with them(thank you)

*Tipping will be here on 10/4 for pictures, all students wear DNA uniform(no gym clothes)

We will be practicing for a fire drill this week. This sometimes causes worry, this is only natural. If you could talk to your child and reassure them this is not scary, and is to keep us all safe, and to follow directions, I would grealy appreciate your help. Thank you. 
  
Please review with your child to use their words and not hitting to talk with the other children. Thank you
Lunch selection (many are not eating the school lunch provided/you may want to pack)
They need a morning snack (juice/water and snack)
Walking in the halls and classroom
Please practice opening juices and snacks and lunch (we do help, however we have some impatient little people)
To have fun on the playground, listen to rules and slow down.........
To smile and have a great day!!!

Starting on Monday, September 11th  the gym doors will open at 7:30 and stay opened until 7:45. After 7:45 your child will need to be dropped off at the front office. It is very important for your child to come to school everyday on time.
We like to get our day started right away.
Pre-K and Kindergarten get dismissed 20 minutes before grades 1-8.
2:30 dismissal days- 2:10
3 :30 dismissal days 3:10
It is very important that you drop off and pick up your child everday on time. 

Please put your chil'd name on all of his/her belongings, thank-you.

Pre-Kindergarten Supply List
4 boxes of tissues                                                        5 glue sticks                                                              4 rolls of paper towels                                             1 pair of child-size scissors                                        4 containers of Clorox wipes                                   1 beach towel for rest time               
4 packs of baby wipes                                                   (no sleeping bags, blankets or pillows)             1 box of markers                                                       1 school bag large enough for folder                     1 24-count box of crayons                                       3 beginner pencils (thick)                   
                                            2 folders
**Please send in a full set of clothes in case of an accident/dirty

***Summer Session will begin on Wednesday, July 1, 2024 and run through July 18, 2024 - we are off July 4th and July 5th (Mondays – Thursdays from 9:00am – 3:00pm, and no school on Fridays)
