Hello, DNA Families,

As we get ready to begin our next week at DNA, let us pause and offer prayers for all of the people affected by the wildfires in California.  May God watch over the firefighters, workers and families and keep them safe from harm. 

Please take a minute to read a few reminders for the week...

*We have a full week of school this week.  Please note that students will be completing MAP and DIBELS testing beginning on Tuesday.  It is important that they get a good night of sleep and that they arrive on time.

*Students will go outside for lunch recess whenever possible.  Please make sure they have appropriate outerwear and if possible, please label items with their name.

*It's very important for students to arrive at school on time(between 7:30-7:45) each day.  Students in 4th-8th grades that arrive late will receive a demerit.  Students in lower grades will lose their recess time.  

*Please send in tuition payments that are due.  Any questions, please give us a call.

*DNA is closed Monday, 1/20 in celebration of MLK Day.  

*Please continue to look for your child's communication folder every Tuesday.  Please sign and return tests/important papers and sign the front of the folder before returning it to school on Wednesday.

*Students have access to math and reading practice when they log into IXL.  Using IXL for 15 minutes each day will help your child boost their skills.  Please encourage them to login and use IXL often.  We are seeing significant growth in the students who are using IXL.

*Please check our website for information from Perisco which offers FREE virtual tutoring!

 Friday dismissal time is always 2:10

  Please note that every Friday we will have a 2:10 dismissal.

***Summer Session will begin on Monday, June 30, 2025 and run through July 17, 2025 Monday, June 30 – Thursday, July 3 Monday, July 7 – Thursday, July 10 Monday, July 14 – Thursday, July 17 (Mondays – Thursdays from 9:00am – 3:00pm, and no school on Fridays)

     Please send an extra set of clothing for your child (underwear, shirt, pants and socks)
