Achievement can be defined in many ways, and the Josephine C. Connelly Achievement Awards are presented to eighth grade students who strive to realize their fullest academic potential, strongly desire to attend an Archdiocesan Catholic high school, and who best demonstrate the value of Catholic education. Named in honor of our foundation’s co-founder, Josephine C. Connelly, the awards are offered to students graduating from each and every Philadelphia parish elementary school in recognition of family commitment to Catholic education. For more information, go to www.connellyfdn.org.
Maguire Foundation, in partnership with the Faith in the Future Foundation (“Foundation”), will award $3,000 per-year scholarships to at least six students in each of the eighteen qualifying Philadelphia-area Catholic high schools. The current application is specific to eighth graders entering the high school Class of 2021. The scholarship is renewable for each of the four years of high school, given that the Maguire Scholar maintains standards consistent with the qualifications listed on the application.
